There's So Much in Store...Literally
OUR ORIGIN STORY
Mike was often frustrated by his inability to spend enough time reading and talking about his favorite characters. He would tell himself the pipe-dream (or retirement plan) would be to work in a comic book shop...one day. Facing a career crossroads, he decided to take the plunge in 2012.
The store opening was nearly disrupted by the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Despite power outages and shipping delays leading to a very sparse graphic novel selection and no computer, the shop opened. The pipe-dream was no more and Manifest Comics was born!
In the years since, Mike has applied what he's learned to continue growing the shop and the community. Now, with his trusty sidekick, David, the Manifest team aims to serve the geeky community in Bayonne and the surrounding Hudson county area!
We are conveniently located a block from the 34th street light rail or park for free in the municipal lot on 33rd (between Broadway and Avenue E). While we have a Broadway address, our suite is located on the side of the building so please enter from the 34th St entrance across from the giant flower mural. Don't worry, once you find us, you won't want to leave!

Education Fund
The #OurVoices Fund was created in 2020 to take an active role in sharing and celebrating all facets of the "American" experience. The fund provides graphic novels featuring underrepresented groups at no cost to local educators.
As a former educator, Manifest Mike is thrilled to work with interested teachers to research and choose age-appropriate graphic novels and craft educational objectives.
